This attractive grass is known for its stiff, upright blue-green foliage. It is widely adaptable, as it can be readily used in large mixed containers, gardens and in landscape. In mixed containers, its stiff upright foliage makes it an excellent substitute item for Dracaena spike, since it is by far a better germinator and finishes within 15 weeks vs. 15 months for Dracaena. As a sun-loving plant, the attractive foliage turn bluer under higher light intensity.
